Visual Display Container
From a 40ft x 9.5ft x 8ft ISO container this was designed as a Low Carbon Emissions Visual Display Unit for Southwark Council and is situated at Elephant and Castle. The shipping container had the following conversions carried out:
- Overall length reduced to 30ft
- 26ft x 6ft window
- Both ends of the unit had triangular steel sections fitted for visual effect
- The exterior was clad with translucent panels
- Remote controlled hydraulic door
- Solar panels were fitted to the roof
- Astroturf flooring
