Bullmans Expands Reefer Facility
Monday, 16th August 2010
Continuing with our policy of inward investment and business development we have now finished the upgrade to our reefer facility. A new PTI bridge has been built to accompany the reefer mechanics offices and stores.
A dedicated concrete reefer storage and repair area has been set up, with covered workshops allowing for carcass and machine repairs or inspections up to IICL standard. 20 reefer points have been installed with 5 pin, 4 pin and single phase sockets available to cover the full spectrum of refrigerated containers within both international marine and domestic reefer fleets.
Bullmans store and repair reefers for some of the worlds leading container leasing companies and shipping lines as well as offering refrigerated container sales and conversions. In addition to the usual modifications such as domestic machinery conversions, aluminium chequer plate floors, lights, panic alarms and coldroom doors a bespoke conversion service is available. Previous projects include split chilled and frozen units, blast freezers, low noise machinery, wide bodied units, refrigerant retro-fills and laboratories.
Off-hire estimates and PTI’s are carried out to IICL and cargoworthy criteria depending on client specifications as well as in-service running repairs and wear and tear inspections. Having been in business for over 35 years Bullmans are well placed to offer both knowledge and expertise in the industry providing a professional and cost effective service to an expanding client base.
